MBBS at Zarmed University — Apollo Medskills Programme (ZAAP)
Uniple guides your admission into Zarmed University’s flagship ZAAP programme — Apollo-trained faculty, NExT/USMLE/UKMLA coaching, and clinical observership access, built into the MBBS itself.
ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Zarmed University, Republic of Uzbekistan
Zarmed University is a government-recognized medical university in Uzbekistan, distinguished by its own attached hospital and partnerships with multiple government hospitals for clinical training. The university runs hi-tech classrooms, dedicated anatomy and research laboratories, and maintains two campuses in the country’s academic cities of Bukhara and Samarkand.
Beyond its standard international MBBS track, Zarmed offers a distinct programme — ZAAP (Zarmed Apollo Medskills) — developed in partnership with Apollo MedSkills Ltd, a joint venture between the Apollo Group and the National Skill Development Corporation, Government of India. This is the specific programme Uniple guides students into.”

Hands-On Hospital Training

Know the Difference
ZAAP vs. Zarmed’s standard International MBBS track
Zarmed also runs a separate International MBBS Programme with no Apollo affiliation. Uniple only guides students into ZAAP specifically — here’s why that distinction matters.

Common Questions
Before you decide
Is ZAAP a separate degree from Zarmed's regular MBBS?
No — ZAAP students receive the same Zarmed University MBBS degree. ZAAP is a structured add-on within that degree: Apollo-trained faculty, exam coaching, and observationship access, not a different qualification.
Is this MBBS valid to practice in India?
Zarmed University’s recognition status should be verified against the current National Medical Commission (NMC) list before applying. Uniple confirms this directly as part of counselling. Graduates of any foreign medical degree must clear India’s FMGE/NExT screening exam to practice.
What's the difference between Apollo Medskills and Apollo Hospitals?
Apollo MedSkills Ltd is a healthcare skilling and training joint venture (Apollo Group with the National Skill Development Corporation, Government of India) — distinct from Apollo Hospitals’ clinical operations, though connected to the same group.
Which campus will I study at — Bukhara or Samarkand?
Campus allocation depends on the specific intake and available seats at the time of application. Uniple confirms your assigned campus before you commit to the process.
